Sitio Tabacco, Barangay Puntod

Last July 23, 2009, lots of houses turned to ashes in Sitio Tabacco, Barangay Puntod. There are about 120 homeless family. The blaze started at 2:40 in the afternoon. In this case, the initial investigation was started at Cleopas Ello’s house (lots of witnesses confirmed).

As what fire probers said: It took several hours to manage the fire because of the narrow pathways. This is the usual problem of the firefighters in Cagayan de Oro.

Even though it ends into it, the firefighters are thankful because the residents help them to put out the fire.
